I love to photograph strangers while they smoke. I don’t know what is but I just like it. I believe it adds another dimension to the entire street persona. Its almost like they’re being really themselves and just free to do as they want without fear or judgement.

love the interaction/exchange here! And I agree with you re. smoking. It’s that added drama but also, in these days, with indoors smoking mostly prohibited, people show a "truer" side of themselves in those crucial smoke-breaks.
