Let’s slightly rephrased the quote so it can apply to todays digital world with “the ones you didn’t skimp”.
I just love looking at my digital contact sheet in Aperture. I quickly star the images I want to work on and then go through my post processing. The real highlights and sometimes just an utter surprise, are the ones you don’t skimp. This image is exactly what I’m talking about. When I first saw it I was completely delighted.
Street photography with the Ricoh GRD III takes a little bit of getting used to but once you learn your camera, it just becomes an extension of your eye and a wonderful working tool. This shot was taken as the camera was in a backhand position via Snap mode set to infinity.
To finalize, children are our future, let’s make sure we take care of them and give them all that they deserve.
