Hello fellow togs, so big development for me, I started using Lightroom 3 just a few days ago. A while back I had purchased both Aperture 3 and LR3 and got caught up quickly on the ease of Aperture, never really giving LR3 a true chance.
Well what can I say, I was wrong, LR3 rocks. I had been wanting to develop a workflow with color. I love BW but color has always been intriguing to me and I had never really jump straight into it, blame it, on my previous years with film, where I only worked in BW.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I went on a Photo Walk on South Beach this past Sunday and I took with me my Nikon D80 and the Ricoh GRD. This is a candid from the Nikon and the niffty fifty. Anyway hope to be back soon, I have lots of stuff to share re: workflow, tone curves, and over B&W PP.
Cheers and feeling the love from you all, thanks.
Jorge
Great shot and "yes" Lightroom 3 rocks!!!
You’re busted Jorge ! Great catch, the movement is her hair and how it is sharply taken is awesome.
Wow!!!! That’s a great shot, good work man 🙂 love it.
Great work with the colours, Jorge. Her pose and hair is very dynamic
wonderful shot, well done!
Very nice shot! Thanks for adding it here at Photography Tales. I just can not get the courage to shoot strangers in the street, it seems so invasive and I feel they might get upset. Good job.

Thank you fellows, its a new window in my photography, experimenting with color, to be honest, I quite like it but off course, will not be giving up black and white, it will just be both, depending on the project, scene, or shot.
Good one. Sharp, great colours, fantastic subject.
Nice catch !
Great take and yes I can relate to the colour and B&W scenario 🙂
Hola Jorge, preciosa toma fotografica, ha sido espontanea?. Me gusta como te ha quedado, un color y una iluminacion magnifica. Un saludo amigo.
nice shot
Excellent, be interested to hear your thoughts on LR3 as I have both and have done exactly the same as you………..
great candid shot bro! The colors are awesome too!
