The Rig: Olivier Duong

Who are you and what’s your profession? Hey, my name is Olivier Duong, I’m a Haitian-French-Vietnamese dude born and raised in Haiti. Profession? I’ve tried to get a job many times with other shooters and all, I’ve went so far as to design a whole ebook for someone, explaining point by point how I could help their business, I never got anything! No call, nothing. I was getting nowhere, so much so my wife told me she felt bad for me. So, tired of asking, I decided to go in business for myself.

The Rig: Tom McLaughlan

Who am I? Simple – I’m a lucky person. I have my family and some very special friends, I have a job and it’s one I love (I lead Accenture’s UK government relations program) and I have photography. So I call myself a photographer with a wonderful day job. I’m also a trustee of a London-based human rights charity, the Helen Bamber Foundation (helenbamber.org) – a very, very special organization named after an extremely inspiring woman.

The Rig: Jorge Ledesma

I currently shoot with Fujifilm X-Series cameras: the X100S and the X-Pro 1 as I believe they offer the right mix between image quality, portability, and the “ninja factor”. Prior to this I shot with the X-E1 and X100 LE as well but I always had a soft spot for the X-Pro 1. After I acquired the X-Pro 1 I wanted parity between my files so I ended upgrading to the X100S

The Rig: Othman Kammah

Who are you and what is your profession? My name is Othman Kammah but everyone that knows me calls me OT. I am a Business Analyst by trade and a Photographer by passion. I spent most of my life in various parts of the Mediterranean. Morocco, Spain, and France to name a few. Toronto, Canada is where I currently live with my wife, our pup, and our kitten. After having grown up shooting film with my father and eventually stopping for no particular reason, I got back into photography over the last few years. My other passion is music and I have been playing guitar for as long as I can remember. Both photography and music have had a heavy influence on shaping the person that I like to think I am; composed, and laid back 🙂 I like to think that these attributes shine through in my work, and especially in my Visual Essays.

The Rig: Brian Dunlea

My name is Brian Dunlea. I’m a portrait and landscape photographer, but I dabble in street photography as well. I’m not a professional and I’m very new to photography. I started in January 2012 with a view to starting a songwriting site. I’ve been a drummer/singer/guitarist since I was 15.

The Rig: Donovan Bond

Name’s Donovan Bond. I live in Toronto, Canada with my wife Melissa, and 4 cats. My last job was as a “Senior Art Director” at a marketing agency. I would typically hire photographers rather than actually be one, but I was always the one who’d shoot parties, events, and employee headshots.

The Rig: Alex Coghe

I am an Italian photojournalist currently based in Mexico City, where I live almost 4 years with my wife. My professional activity ranges from editorial photography to events, including fashion and erotic photography. My work already includes many books published, prestigious collaborations and important exhibitions (USA, Italia, Spain).
