Thanks Fernando, indeed, yes it is. I always say its the most underrated lens in m43rd’s. I have tons of images that I’ll eventually publish with it as its my primary lens in this system. I also just recently added the Oly 14-42mm IIR and that should be a lot fun.

I see a lot of optical magic on this lens from what I see and your images are a beautiful example of it.
I also love the B&W treatment you achieved searching for that “dynamic b&w” setting results. That tones (from the dyn. b&w setting on the GF1) are what made me strat with micro 4/3, although I got an E-P2 and the 20mm 1.7, which I love for b&w but not for color.
I think the 17/2.8 produces a lovely color also.
I hope I can get close to that tones somehow sometime, any tip very wellcome

Excellent Fernando, stay tuned here because I plan on sharing how I process my images with the various applications I use which are Lightroom 3, Silver Efex Pro II, and I just added Photoshop Elements 10. Also watch for an upcoming where I’ll share a Lightroom preset for RAW files which simulates the Dynamic B&W setting for the jpegs on the GF1/LX3 which you can use on your RAW Olympus files.

Thank you James. To give you a brief explanation on how this shot came about. I was walking by and I had actually passed the alley but her aloof position, like if she had lost her keys in the alley was the kicker, walked back a few steps and click.
