Inverted Reality

Sometimes things are not what they seem. We see it all the time, personalities, attitudes, and all sort of character traits in between. In a recent post, I had asked for donations for a child abroad whose going to have an operation and his family was in dire need of some assistance. To my surprise, people responded and opened their hearts to help a family abroad. I’m very grateful to all those who donated and to all those who will keep, little Raulito, in their prayers ― Gracias.

Week 37 | 2012

Every so often on our photographic journeys we arrive at new paths. These paths lead to new doors and its up to us, to either cross them or stay behind. What are you going to do? Personally, I just arrived at a new door myself and I still don’t know what the other side holds, but one thing is for certain, you can bet I’m passing through.   Are you passing through as well or staying back?

I’ve been meaning to dive into a new genre, an off shoot of Street Photography ― Documentary Photography and here’s one of my first shots. Portraits are the soul of documentary photography, capturing those moments which now will last forever.
